Virginia Conaty is a Senior Computer Engineering major and was hired by HED as an Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2024.

What did you work on this summer? This summer I worked on updating log files to be used for testing on one of our boards. I also worked on updating software for a new update on one of our other products as well.

What’s the best thing about your job?  One of the best things about my job is being able to work on challenging projects alongside the rest of the software team. I’ve been able to apply what I learn at school to real-world situations that actually benefit the company.

What’s great about your company?  One of the greatest things about HED is the level of care they have for their employees which is evident in the amount of employee appreciation events and the provided lunches they host.

How did you find your internship opportunity?  I found my internship at the Career Fair.
