Responsibilities & Tasks
- Plan & Design methods to improve the production processes in a manufacturing environment
- Design tools to aid in the manufacturing process
- Ensure compliance with approved production methods & quality standards
- Aid in the development of SOPs (standard operating procedures) to keep them up to date and develop process improvements as needed
- Work closely with other team members to monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of the manufacturing process
- Aid in the implementation of various 6S endeavors across the manufacturing shop
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated passion for working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills
- Knowledge/Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Knowledge/Experience with 3D modelling software (SolidEdge, AutoCAD, etc.)
Academic Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or other related degree
