Quality Engineer

We work together with our users through observation, interviews, and field research, making them part of the solution process. Our team defines critical benefits to our end users, constructs prototypes, and evaluates product designs considering unmet user needs, durability, materials, and manufacturing processes. As a Quality Engineer for Milwaukee Electric Tool your primary duties are to research, develop and revise Quality and Environmental Policies, Procedures, System Instructions, Engineering Standards and Work Instructions that govern the operations of the Quality Engineering Department.

The TOOLS you’ll need to have:
- Perform, process environmental and quality system audits to ensure compliance to specifications and documented procedures. Perform the lead auditor responsibilities of planning, scheduling, conducting meetings and documenting results.
- Provide training and advising to work areas on statistical techniques and tools for continuous improvement to help maintain ISO certifications in quality and environment systems.
- Establish standards to measure process performance and improvement.
- Provide expertise on the use of various specialties related to business such as process analysis, flowcharting, and strategic planning.
- Coordinate corrective action systems used throughout the company to ensure timely root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive action.
- Respond to customer requests for quality information.
- Perform analysis on Quality and environmental systems for input to executive management review and as a basis for improvement.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the structure and workings of the Milwaukee Quality and Environmental Systems and certifying agency requirements.
What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with basic direction.
- Solid analytical and technical skills required.
- Willingness to work with hands
