Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our growing Marketing Analytics team in Milwaukee, WI. The Data Analytics Internship is an opportunity to learn and improve skills that are critical to a career in data analytics and gain experience with marketing analytics and consumer insights.
Our Marketing Analytics Team is responsible for developing measurement strategies, insightful BI reporting solutions, and delivering data analyses to inform business decisions. This internship will expose you to many aspects of our cross-functional business, and will provide avenues to develop your leadership, project management, and technical capabilities. This role will assist in evaluating, accelerating, and instrumenting our digital product and experience measurement. The role requires experience with data analysis and storytelling, technological prowess, effective communication skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive impact for the company.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
· Manage and contribute to projects to implement marketing measurement strategies, improve processes, and provide analyses for strategic business initiatives.
· Data visualization: develop and enhance Power BI dashboards/reporting solutions focused on digital product and digital marketing measurement.
· Monitor business intelligence eco-system and identify opportunities to make enhancements.
· Participate in exploratory data analysis: assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights using marketing and consumer behavior data under the guidance of senior team members.
· Work with internal users of data and analytics to understand requirements, formulate use cases, and then design data solutions in collaboration with team members.
· Contribute to data pipeline development: assist in developing and maintaining ETL processes.
· Document work clearly: help document methodologies, processes, requirements, and findings in an organized and accessible manner.
· Other duties assigned: contribute to various tasks and projects as need to support the team.
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Experience in data visualization (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Python/R, Looker, etc.) with the desire to design and deliver custom reporting solutions.
· Basic knowledge of Cloud Experience (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
· Experience with database languages (SQL)
· Experience in Microsoft Excel, and proficiency in other Microsoft Office software including Word and PowerPoint.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to explain complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Passionate about solving business problems and drawing insights from data.
