Technology Development Program – Software Engineering

Your Role on Our Team

The objective of this program is to hire top talent and grow future technical and people leaders of our Information Technology team. Milwaukee Tool commits to investing in those in our Technology Development Program by providing both technical and personal development training to build you into a future leader! This is a rotational program with four, six-month rotations designed to provide broad exposure to Milwaukee Tool and emerging you into relevant technologies in the software engineering space.

In this role, you will work as a member of agile software development teams responsible for building and maintaining custom web applications for Milwaukee Tool. You will participate in agile ceremonies, leverage the latest technologies, and follow best practices throughout the SDLC.

What TOOLS you’ll bring with you:

  • A forthcoming bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • .NET Core
  • React.js or similar JavaScript framework
  • SQL
  • Git/other source control
  • Object-oriented and relational database development skills
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
