Chloe Suetholz is a Junior Software Engineering major and was hired by Uline as a Software Developer intern for the summer of 2023.
What did you work on this summer? I worked on various Uline website on the Web Team within IT. While there, I maintained the code base, added, and altered analytics tracking on different sites, implemented bug fixes and feature enhancements on the main site, and participated overall in the agile process on a team of developers with input and feedback from business analysts and quality assurance testers.
What’s the best thing about your job? Personally, I found that the best part of my job was the satisfaction of getting to do what I was interested in and learning new aspects of the field that could lead me further into a career I enjoy.
What’s great about your company? The people employed at Uline were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful in getting acclimated to my new job. They also were great with helping me understand the large code base that Uline has.
